 This year, I saw christmas.decorations on sale 2 weeks after Official Married Into This Cleveland T-Shirt "back to school" sales were over. A lot of stores here (USA) skipped stocking Halloween decorations and paraphernalia because they are banking a lot of people will be "skipping it" this year. I was in a Lowes about a month ago and they already had Christmas trees out next to the early Halloween candy. It was barely even September! At this rate, Christmas is gonna bury the 4th of July in the US within a few years. I fucking hate that. I almost uninstalled Spotify because it presented me with a banner reading "Christmas music is ready!" on Sep 21. Get that shit outa my face. I'll celebrate Christmas and listen to Christmas tunes when I am good and ready. I'm from Germany, and Halloween was nonexistent when I grew up. I am really jealous of my kids because we celebrate Halloween every year with pumpkin carving, spooky decorations, movies, and costumes. I am a big horror fan so I naturally like the event. I know it isn't really traditional, but I fully support it becoming a tradition. Out of all things that came from America, this is really one of the better ones.
